My Type is Tropical was written as an off-the-beaten-path Field Guide offering something a little different than the standard fare. The specimen illustrations are created entirely from typography, per the assignment. My target audience is adults – adults on vacation, botany nerds, tropical fruit fans, typography geeks and anyone who appreciates some quotable facts.
I wrote the copy and designed the layout to highlight some fun and sensual angles of the material. I hope that this juicy little guide entices readers with the promise of fun and education and the unusual take on the material is memorable for all.
